The week of July 6 - 12 we are having our FOURTH annual Love Week to serve and care for our local community. We will have several opportunities to serve others, and there is something for everyone! Whether it's playing Bingo with an elder, or donating some back to school clothes, you can serve during Love Week! Check out the opportunities below for ways to get involved, and get signed up if you want to be a part of one or more days! Let's go love our community!

DATE: JULY 6,8,10 (MON, WED, FRI)
TIME: 11:00AM - 3:00PM
NEED: 15-20 PEOPLE EACH DAY
Join us as we put on Summer Fun Days for the kids at Chevy Chase July 6,8,10! We will provide lunch, crafts, a lesson, games, reading, and activities for the kids each day from 11:00am - 3:00pm! Many of the parents and guardians of children at Chevy Chase work during the day. In the summer months that means several kids are home alone either because they are too old for childcare, or their guardians cannot afford it. Several churches in the area are putting on Summer Fun Days for Chevy Chase different weeks of the summer, and this is our week to love them well! Let's show up big for those kids and create an amazing environment for them every day!

TIME: EVERYDAY

We will be helping with the Back to School Bash at the end of the summer (July 25), but this year we have the opportunity to give in more ways than just our time serving. Each kid that comes to the Back to School Bash receives a backpack, school supplies, new shoes, and two new outfits. We will provide little school buses corresponding to individual kids that will be available to be picked up by you. Each on will have a child's name on it, clothing sizes, and interests. We need people willing to take these school busses, make a plan for collecting the items needed for that child, and bring them back so they can be gifted during the Back to School Bash! Just pick up a bus in the Atrium after either service on Sunday, July 5 and bring them back before July 19.

We will meet at Hannah's Treasure Chest in the evening to help them with a project at their location, most likely sorting and organizing clothing. Hannah's Treasure Chest is a clothing ministry in our local community that provides free clothes to those in need. We will meet at this address:

We want to bring joy and life to the residents of Madrid Estates, a low income retirement community, by joining them for a fun afternoon of BINGO! Come spend some time with people that are often overlooked by society and help remind them that they matter and are loved!

NEED: 15-20 PEOPLE
We are sending a group of people down to Target Dayton to help with the evening worship gathering and their evening meal service. If you would like to be a part of the team serving at Target Dayton, sign up below!

To end LOVE Week go get some delicious City BBQ at the Centerville location after church. You can order online using the discount code below, or you can order in person using the physical flier that can be picked up in the Atrium following either service on Sunday, July 12. When you use that code 20% of all proceeds will go towards our Dominican Republic Mission Trip!
