The week of July 20 - 27 we are having our second annual Love Week to serve and care for our local community. We will have several opportunities to serve others, and there is something for everyone! Whether it's writing an encouraging note or doing some yard work, you can serve during Love Week! Check out the opportunities below for ways to get involved, and get signed up if you want to be a part of one or more days! Let's go love our community!

DATE: JULY 21 (SUNDAY am)
TIME: AFTER 9:00 & 10:30 SERVICES
NEED: WHOLE CHURCH
During our 9:00am and 10:30am services on Sunday, July 9th we want everyone to take a moment and write an encouraging note to the teachers and staff of Magsig Middle School! During the school year we partner with Weller to provide the kids with snacks, and support them in any ways that we can. We want to take some time before the next school year starts and encourage those who take on one of the hardest jobs out there: teaching! Take some time Sunday morning and fill out a short note of encouragement at the Go Local wall.

We are sending a group of people down to Target Dayton to help with the evening worship gathering and their evening meal service. If you would like to be a part of the team serving at Target Dayton, sign up below!
DATE: JULY 22-26 (MONDAY-FRIDAY)
TIME: 10:00AM-2:00PM
NEED: 15-20 PEOPLE EACH DAY
Join us as we put on Summer Fun Days for the kids at Chevy Chase July 22 - 26! We will provide lunch, crafts, a lesson, games, reading, and activities for the kids each day from 10:00am - 2:00pm! Many of the parents and guardians of children at Chevy Chase work during the day. In the summer months that means several kids are home alone either because they are too old for childcare, or their guardians cannot afford it. Several churches in the area are putting on Summer Fun Days for Chevy Chase different weeks of the summer, and this is our week to love them well! Let's show up big for those kids and create an amazing environment for them every day!
DATE: JULY 23 (TUESDAY)
TIME: 6:30PM-8:30PM
NEED: 15-20 PEOPLE
We need 6-12 people to help do some yard work for a couple residential properties in the community that need some help. The yard work includes trimming bushes, and spreading some mulch. We'll need an electric trimmer, rakes for collecting trimmings, rakes for spreading mulch, and gloves! If you want to help with some yard work, or have any of those needed items, please sign up!
DATE: JULY 25 (THURSDAY)
TIME: 5:30PM-6:30PM
NEED: 6-20 PEOPLE
We're putting together a group of 6-20 people to come help visit shut-ins and others at Bethany village the evening of July 25th. Help make someone's day special by signing up to make a visit!
DATE: JULY 27 (SATURDAY)
TIME: 12:30AM - 3:30PM (various time slots)
NEED: LOTS OF PEOPLE
Sign up to help at this back to school party at Chevy Chase! There will be games, haircuts, health services, and we will be distributing back packs, school supplies, new clothes and more! There are several ways to serve, from set up and tear down, to distributing school supplies during the event. Please sign up below to get involved!
